RUDY: RUDY, RUDY, RUDY, DO YOU LOVE ME? I know, the song is really, JUDY, but Rudy works!! HI, I'm Rudy, or RooRoo, as some call me. It's because I look like and hop like a kangaroo. I'm a little, leggy, red stag male looking for a new home. I came into rescue from a family with kids, but, I did not like the little ones. I prefer older children (10 & up) who will play ball and tug-o-war with me. I love to run and play so, I will need a secure, fenced backyard. I am working on this potty business, so crating me for long periods will not work well for you or me. I love "couch" time and cuddling. Maybe you will share your big bed with me? I absolutely love to go for walks, so I behave very well on a leash. SCHOOL? Did you say school?? I'd love to go to obedience school with you. That way, you can learn all the ins and outs to teach me right from wrong. Don't worry, I'll go with you to keep you company!
I put up with this “neutered” thing, dental and the shots so I am good to go! I am about 18 months old, weighting in at a little over 7 lbs and I'm 10 inches tall. I really am a handsome little devil! What do you say? Can I be your forever little guy?

MEGAN (MEGGY, MEGS): I am a young, 3 year old, stag red female with natural ears, docked tail, up to date on shots, spayed, and even had my dental exam! I am 11” tall and weigh in at a whopping 10.6 lbs. As a puppy mill breeder, I spent the first three years of my life in a small cage having pups. Luckily, the mill was shut down and I have found my way to rescue!
This new world has been really quite a shock! I have foster dogs and a family; a fenced yard and a deck to lay in the sun. It's been a tough transition for me. I am still afraid of men and children and have no idea what a cat is. I jump at strange noises, but my foster mom is very reassuring. All the other dogs are quite noisy and bossy so, I spend my time laying in the sun or I go to my crate. I am doing well with leash walking, but I still jump at loud noises and shy away from strangers.. I am not a barker. Most of the time you won't even know I am here. My foster mom makes sure I have “couch” time with the family in the evening and I love laying beside her and getting loved. Guess you could say I have a lot to learn.
I need a special human to love. Someone who will have time and patience to teach me new things. I don't use my crate to do my business or your floors if you let me outside often enough. The doc says I also have Lipid Corneal Dystrophy - cloudiness in the cornea of my eyes. I see just fine and will not go blind.
I am learning to trust and learning that “hands don't hurt,” but I need time. I am healthy and happy here, but would love to have a human all to myself. So, if you have a quiet home with a small fenced yard or gated deck, I could, with time and patience be your forever companion.

BUDDY: “I'M A SURVIVOR!” I know - TV show, song......but they've got nothing on me! I spent 6 years of my life in a small cage making puppies. I have the "battle scars;" tattered ears. The “mill” got busted and I, lucky me, found my way to RESCUE!!!
I LOVE HAVING FAMILY AND FREEDOM! Wow, what a great life! I have foster dogs to play with instead of fighting over food with, a big fenced yard and people who love me. It was touch and go for a while with heartworms, but, as I said I am a survivor and getting better every day. I LOVE being loved, touched and petted. My foster mom gives us "couch" time in the evening with lots of attention. I've got this “potty business” down to a point, I am not a barker, and when I want your attention, I tug on your shirttail! Okay, so that's not such a good idea, but I LOVE BEING TOUCHED!
I am not good with small children, too fast, noisy and jumpy. I am not real sure about “males.” Kinda' scary after what I've been through, but I am getting used to the “man of the house.” He loves me too, so I let him pick me up now. I am getting used to leash walking, but that's a big scary world out there, so it's taking a little bit of time.
Healthwise, I am doing great! I am up to date on shots, heartworm treatment is over; so all I am waiting for is to be neutered (WHAT!?!?) and have my dental done.
What do I need now? I need a home of my own and someone to love. I like fenced yards and decks to lay out in the sun on warm days. AND, I love being a lap dog. So, if you think you can love my tattered ears, sweet disposition and having me in you lap, let me know; I just may be your forever companion!
Buddy is 9” tall, weighing in at a whopping 10.6 lbs. He is due to be neutered the first week in June and will be looking for you!

MILO: Meet Milo!
Hi Folks! Although the vet thinks I am about 6-8 years old, I am all puppy at heart! I miss having a child or two to play ball with and hang out. I am great with kids, adults and other dogs, but not too good with cats or other critters. I’m a pretty laid back young man and would love to once again have humans of my own.
I let you know when I have to go out. I am not destructive; love to play with my toys, and love to snuggle. I’m a great couch potato during sports seasons. Just, please remember, not too much popcorn! I especially love to sleep in a big comfortable bed with my humans.
I am up to date on my vaccinations, I take my heartworm preventative every month and to keep those nasty bugs away, I am on Advantix.
I enjoy being out doors, but as with most minpins, if I get loose, I am a runner. So, a fenced backyard, or gated deck might just be a good idea.
Milo is a 6 year old Black/Tan min pin mix. He stands about 14” and weighs about 20lbs – all muscle and fun!
