MAX:  Max is a 7 year old male. He is neutered with cropped ears and a docked tail. He is about a pound underweight (says the vet) and would do well with a family that would like to fatten him up.
Max has food aggression and will growl and defend his food dish. He is capable of nipping and biting at mealtimes. His foster family is helping him with his aggression and Max has been working with a professional behaviorist, but he will require additional training from his forever home.

Max gets along with other dogs, but has issues with marking when living with another male dog. So, he would be better suited in a home with other female dogs only.
 
Max is NOT crate trained and occasionally has accidents in the house, so he is currently sporting a doggie diaper (see photo). But he has made significant progress in that department and should be able to be indoors without it in a few months.
He was obviously neglected by his previous owners. But he is very bright and picks up on training quickly and would really thrive with someone who can give him lots of attention.

Daily walks are thoroughly enjoyed and he is completely trained to walk with a harness.

Max is a 7 year old Black and Tan male located in Bristol, RI.  He has a docked tail with cropped ears.  We will not fly this boy.
