AMPS, INC. is a non-profit organization registered in the State ofNew Hampshire comprised exclusively of volunteers. We are also exempt under section 501(c3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Our group is dedicated to rescuing, fostering, transporting, and otherwise coordinating efforts to help Min Pins in need find their way to loving, permanent homes. Our volunteers agree to abide by the guidelines as set forth by the Directors of AMPS.

Each rescued Min Pin is treated with special care. They are evaluated by a veterinarian for common health issues, are given requiredmedical care, spayed or neutered and micro-chipped.

We screen every applicant very carefully to ensure that they understand the responsibilities involved in caring properly for a pet. Our responsibility is to place our dogs into homes that will best meet their needs, both physically and emotionally. We look for people with patience, loving hearts, and an understanding of a Min Pin's needs. A detailed application from which we conduct reference verifications and ahome visit with all household members present are pre-adoption requirements. A follow up visit may be scheduled at a future date to ensure that everything is working out well for the dog as well as the family.

During this process, our pets are safely and lovingly cared for inprivate, approved foster homes in which we observe and evaluate each minpin for temperament and behavior, continue with the pet's socialization and training, and provide for their physical well being and health. Please examine the biography on any dog that interests you very carefully. We spend quite a bit of time assessing the needs of these dogs and our requirements are generally non-negotiable.
